Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on June 15, 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. Her name could also be stylized by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well reviewed by various music websites. She has recorded several high-profile cover songs, including Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which were widely appreciated. Katy Perry, who endorsed the song Runaway with her voice, also gave it some more recognition. It was her birthday celebration. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is when she discovered a grand piano in the attic. The piano was fascinating to her what it could do. Her parents May-Britt as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to take up music not as a profession or a pastime, but as a way to develop. To achieve this she wrote her first original compositions. Her influences include renowned authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her love for Bjork's style. Her mother encouraged her to perform her music publicly, not to be famous, but to help others realize the importance of their work and how they can make a difference for humanity. As a young girl She began playing the piano. At age nine, she was writing music. It was not until she turned 14 that she told her parents. Aurora isn't something she imagined as a child. She just loves to write songs. For her, the songs she creates are the way that she feels everything.
